Dealing with intractable controversies In 2007 the Amsterdam Centre of Conflict Studies at the University of Amsterdam and Hat Trick conflict management in IJsselstein will organize a series of visits by internationally known mediators, consultants and scientists on conflict management in the public domain. The goal is to give managers, consultants and mediators in Holland a unique opportunity to deepen their knowledge and abilities in conflict resolution by hearing about the broad experiences of these master practitioners. The program foresees in the following people: March 2007 Susan Podziba on the subject “Environmental and Public Policy Mediation” (English spoken) A pril 2007: Howard Bellman on the subject “Controversial rulemaking” (English spoken) May 2008: Friedrich Glasl on the subject: "International conflictresolution."
